Spent the night in hospital, dr was worried about ectopic pregnancy because of progressively worsening pain on my right side. So after being hooked up to a drip and crying after poor Dr Ann-Maree poked and prodded my tummy, I had a scan. Gary (the baby's nickname) is in the right spot :)
so she's not ectopic.
Good news
But
the cyst in my right ovary is back :(
So I'm kind of in limbo at the moment, don't know what's going on
PS
I heard the heartbeat and saw my little speck of dust on the ultrasound, I cried lol

sending love and healing xxx
ps....gary will be fine !!!
Thinking of you Tania,
I just wanted to add that a close friend of mine had a decent size ovarian cyst during her last pregnancy and everything was fine...
Hope it is for you too,

You named your baby after a comic-book seasnail?
It's good to hear that all is ok with Gary, though.
xoxoxo
Thanks Jewell :)
Yes she will be :)
G, I'm glad you told me that :)
how did she cope with the pain?
Lol yes Cyndy, cos everytime I heard it it made me giggle, and Bianca would make noises like Spongebob's Gary
Thanks for the well wishes, and all the healing, much appreciated

Tania ~ I'm not really sure, she has a low pain threshold at the best of times - I'll ask her for you. Probably just had minimal panadol from memory.
Coincidentally the pregnancy with the cyst was her third, after a gap of 12-13 years (she had two older girls already).

Oh fruggen.

G..I can't have panadol, cos after the endone and oxycontin, panadol does diddly squat for pain relief, the docs said I could have those two, but I don't want Gary to be a drug addict lol I'm having enough trouble bringing myself to use moisturisers on my face, haven't ventured to the pain killer region yet :)
Lol very well put Michelle :)

Oooh! I loves me my pain killer stuff. I hate suffering so if I have a migraine,or any other pain, I don't take the two panadols with a glass of water that will reduce the pain. No, not me. Water, food to help the stomach, then the strongest amount of codeine available without prescription. a few hours of sleep, voila! Pain free. I have a friend who meticulously follows the directions on the packet and suffers for days with low to medium level headaches taking only two panadols every 4-6 hours. I do understand your reluctance to take stuff though, natural methods are better for you if they work and you have the coming baby to think of as well.
Sorry dear, I didn't see you reply to this.
I should have added I think panadol is useless, but my friend has a platelet disorder and can't take aspirin in any form.
I hope the pain has settled now,
G
